Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes what information PuzzThePic (the “App”) collects, how it is used, and your choices. By using the App you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

CategoryWhat & why
Account When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address, display name, and a unique account identifier. We use these to create your PuzzThePic profile.
Puzzle uploads When you create a puzzle, the photo and the puzzle metadata (difficulty, optional challenge text) are uploaded to our servers so the recipient can download and play. Uploaded photos are automatically deleted after 2 days.
Puzzle activity We store a small record of puzzles you send and receive — locally on your device, and (for shared puzzles) on our servers — so the app can show your history and route shared puzzles correctly.
In-app purchases If you buy credits, the platform (Apple or Google) processes the payment and shares a receipt with us for verification. We do not receive your credit-card details.
Advertising The App shows ads delivered by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect a device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) and standard analytics data to deliver and measure ads. You can reset or limit this identifier in your device settings.
Diagnostics We may collect anonymized crash reports and usage metrics through Firebase to keep the App working.
